DESCRIPTION:\n\nLBBA Community Workshop’s cityLab needs your help to positively influence the development of Parkside of Old Town\, the former Cabrini-Green public housing site. cityLab will host two interactive workshops at Spontaneous Interventions to gather stories and data on pedestrian behavior. We want to know how you respond to recreation and green spaces\, commercial sites\, intersections\, and the public and private spaces in your neighborhood. \ncityLab is a 6-week summer program leading Chicago-area students to observe and survey Parkside of Old Town\, interview residents\, and visit other locations around the city to better understand public spaces. Ultimately\, cityLab will make design recommendations and assist Landon Bone Baker Architects in a successful redevelopment project. \n\n\n
