Free

Art in Odd Places (AiOP) is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an exhibition curated by Claire Demere (September 13–28) and two days of programs organized by Meredith Degyansky. AiOP produces visual and performance art in unexpected public spaces. Its upcoming 2014 festival features art all along 14th Street, from Avenue C to the Hudson River (October 9–12).

Panel talk and workshop:

Sunday, September 14th

1 pm – 2:30 pm - Christine Licata, in conversation with artists Jeff Kurosaki and Tara Pelletier of The Friendly Falcons, Zachary Fabri, and Steve Rossi.

3:00 pm – 4:30 pm – The Untitled Workshop led by artist, Alicia Gruillon. How do our bodies become political? Using theater exercises participants will work in groups and look more closely at issues close to us. No theater or art experience necessary only the willingness to be honest, respectful and have fun.
